However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Apple's official confirmation of its September 9 “Surprise and Shine” event, featuring new iPhone 18 Pro models and the long-rumored first foldable iPhone (widely expected as the iPhone Ultra), has driven the 95.8% market-implied odds for an announcement. Supply-chain reports show production ramping up with a book-style design, titanium frame, and near crease-free display in testing for months, while new CEO John Ternus prepares to lead the keynote. This aligns with historical patterns of Apple revealing major form-factor shifts at fall events. Even at this confidence level, minor risks remain around last-minute schedule tweaks, final hardware validation issues, or supply constraints that could shift the exact reveal timing without derailing the overall plan.
