Colorado Initiative 108 is a ballot measure scheduled to appear in the statewide general election currently scheduled for November 3, 2026, which would require life in prison without parole or release for persons convicted of human trafficking a child for sexual servitude. This market will resolve to “Yes” if this ballot measure is approved as a result of the Colorado statewide general election currently scheduled for November 3, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” If voting on the specified ballot measure does not occur, or the results thereof are not known definitively, by March 31, 2027, this market will resolve to “No”. Subsequent litigation or any failure to implement the measure will have no impact on the resolution of this market. This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official information from the State of Colorado, including the Colorado Secretary of State (https://www.sos.state.co.us/). The measure, certified for Colorado’s November 3, 2026 ballot after Protect Kids Colorado gathered sufficient signatures in early 2026, proposes reclassifying human trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude as a class 1 felony carrying mandatory life imprisonment without parole. It would also expand the offense definition to cover knowingly exchanging anything of monetary value to buy or sell sexual activity involving a minor. A parallel legislative proposal failed earlier in the 2026 session, shifting the issue to direct voter approval. Trader consensus at 83% for passage reflects the measure’s alignment with longstanding voter support for stricter sentencing on crimes against children, limited organized opposition, and the absence of recent polling or developments indicating significant resistance ahead of the election.
