If the SpaceX Starship successfully launches from a launch pad in Florida by the listed date, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Yes”. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” The outcome of any launch will be corroborated by examining official video provided by SpaceX (https://www.youtube.com/c/SpaceX), as well as secondary video feeds and/or written reports if necessary. Any subsequent anomaly (e.g., an explosion) after the launch will have no bearing on the outcome. Any renaming of the Starship vehicle will have no bearing on the outcome. The resolution source for this market will be official information from SpaceX, however, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.SpaceX continues advancing Starship infrastructure at Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A, with the Gigabay assembly building nearing completion and launch mount, deluge systems, and tower modifications progressing as of early September 2026. The company shifted all future Florida Starlink missions to Starship after the final Falcon 9 launch from the state in late August, while preparing for high-cadence operations once the site activates. However, vehicle transport from Texas, static-fire testing, and full operational readiness remain prerequisites, with analysts noting that a debut before year-end faces significant hurdles despite SpaceX’s stated target. Upcoming Starship Flight 14 from Texas and any subsequent milestones will influence whether the East Coast pad supports a launch attempt this year or slips into 2027.
