As the 2025 winner, he continues to post highlight-reel range, arm strength, and run-prevention value at a premium position, outpacing specialized contributors like catcher Dillon Dingler and outfielders Ceddanne Rafaela and Wilyer Abreu. Supporting names trail amid lower defensive volume or fewer standout plays leaguewide, with the fan-voted award from Gold Glove finalists expected to reward the broadest impact reflected in current metrics.
