This market will resolve “Yes” if the listed team reaches the ALDS of the 2026 MLB Playoffs. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to advance to the ALDS of the 2026 MLB Playoffs (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2026 MLB Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET or the ALDS matchups have not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the MLB (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The American League playoff picture remains fluid with one month left, as the Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago White Sox, and Houston Astros hold division leads while the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Cleveland Guardians occupy the top wild-card spots. Tight margins define the races, including the White Sox's 2.5-game edge over the Guardians in the AL Central and the Astros' three-game advantage over the Rangers in the AL West. The Rays lead the AL East by four games over the Yankees, and the Guardians sit just one game ahead of the Blue Jays for the final wild-card berth. Recent form, remaining head-to-head matchups, and September schedule strength will shape which six clubs advance through the wild-card round to the ALDS, with no team yet clinched.
