The Chicago White Sox hold a 2.5-game lead in the AL Central with a 74-68 record and positive run differential, fueled by improved power hitting and pitching after years of heavy losses. This positioning gives them the clearest path to the division title, reflected in the 72.3% trader consensus. The Cleveland Guardians sit at 72-71 and remain mathematically alive for both the division and wild card, supporting their 26.0% implied probability. Minnesota, Detroit, and Kansas City trail by six or more games with sub-.480 records and limited September schedules, keeping their shares under 2%. Head-to-head matchups and remaining games against divisional rivals will determine final outcomes.
