This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Most Valuable Player Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Yordan Alvarez has established a dominant position in the 2026 AL MVP market through elite offensive production, leading the league in key Triple Crown categories with a .317 average, 37 home runs, and 94 RBIs while posting an OPS exceeding 1.000 and topping rankings in OBP, slugging, and total bases. Aaron Judge’s rib injury earlier in the season cleared a path for Alvarez to widen his lead, and his consistent power-hitting and on-base skills have kept him ahead of challengers like Junior Caminero and Bobby Witt Jr. despite any minor late-August dips. Trader consensus at 93.5% reflects this sustained statistical edge entering the final weeks. A significant injury to Alvarez or an unprecedented surge in WAR, defense, and team impact from a rival could still shift outcomes before ballots close.
