Ferrari sits second in the standings and benefits from home support plus recent upgrades, placing both Leclerc and Hamilton on the front rows. McLaren’s recent victories have narrowed the gap but its cars start further back. Alpine’s surprise wet-weather pole for Gasly introduces uncertainty around race pace and tire management, while lower-ranked teams like Williams and Racing Bulls trail in overall competitiveness.
