Abba Kabir Yusuf leads the Kano governorship market at 61.5% as the incumbent who defected from the NNPP to the APC in early September 2026, securing immediate endorsements from party leaders including former national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje and Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin. These moves consolidated support ahead of the 2027 election, with the APC affirming him as its consensus candidate and welcoming large-scale defections into the party. Other listed aspirants remain at or below 50%, reflecting limited momentum or party structures, while lower-priced names such as Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo sit at 29.5% amid earlier political realignments. Trader pricing captures the impact of this rapid consolidation on Yusuf’s path to the APC ticket and general election prospects.
