**Pluribus**, Vince Gilligan’s freshman Apple TV+ sci-fi drama starring Rhea Seehorn, earned 18 Emmy nominations in July, including Outstanding Drama Series, Lead Actress, supporting acting bids, writing, directing, and multiple technical categories. This positions the series for a modest haul rather than a sweep, as frontrunner **The Pitt** (25 nominations) dominates drama series predictions while **Hacks** leads comedy. Seehorn’s lead actress nod benefits from her long-overdue recognition after **Better Call Saul**, and supporting performers like Carlos-Manuel Vesga and Karolina Wydra add targeted opportunities. Guild and critics’ precursors have favored the show’s originality, yet historical patterns show new dramas rarely dominate major categories against established contenders. Creative Arts Emmys (Sept. 5-6) and the main ceremony (Sept. 14) will clarify momentum in technical fields, where **Pluribus** holds its strongest edge. Trader consensus reflects this balanced but limited path to wins.
