This market will resolve according to the fighter that is ranked first in the UFC Pound-For-Pound rankings on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. If, for any reason, there is no fighter ranked first in the UFC Pound-For-Pound Rankings at this market’s check-time, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Islam Makhachev's recent unanimous decision win over Ian Machado Garry at UFC 330 extended his Octagon win streak to a record 17, solidifying his status as welterweight champion and the consensus pound-for-pound leader entering September 2026. The 34-year-old Dagestani has cleared divisions with elite wrestling and grappling control, recently discussing plans for additional title defenses while noting his limited remaining career window. Trader pricing reflects this dominance, with challengers like Petr Yan, Alex Pereira, and Ilia Topuria trailing far behind amid their own division-specific records and recent setbacks. Potential shifts could stem from Makhachev suffering an injury, dropping a fight against rising welterweight contenders, or another fighter stringing together multiple high-profile victories across weight classes before year-end.
