Trader consensus at 67.5% aligns with polling trends showing him ahead despite softening personal support and high disapproval among undecided voters, as the opposition vote remains divided among challengers. Jeff Leiper, a sitting councillor at 15.5%, has positioned himself on transit and housing but sees sliding numbers. Alex Lawson at 7.8% and Neil Saravanamuttoo at 1.8% have gained some visibility through early registration and policy announcements, while Catherine McKenney registers minimal support. Advance voting periods begin in October, with the fragmented field reinforcing Sutcliffe's structural edge in this municipal contest.
