The upcoming October 9–10, 2026, municipal elections in Brno feature a fragmented field after incumbent mayor Markéta Vaňková withdrew for health reasons. Kamila Zlatušková leads the ODS–TOP 09 coalition as its new independent candidate, while Jakub Hruška heads the KDU-ČSL–STAN ticket with experience as a district mayor. Václav Trojan represents ANO, and smaller coalitions back figures such as Natálie Vencovská and Adam Zemek. Trader consensus shows these leading options closely matched because no single bloc holds a clear majority in recent local voting patterns, and key issues including housing affordability, transport infrastructure, and green space remain contested. Upcoming campaign events, candidate debates, and any shifts in coalition messaging before election day could widen the gap reflected in current pricing.
