The upcoming October 9-10, 2026, Czech municipal elections will determine Brno's new city council, which then selects the mayor through coalition negotiations. Trader consensus currently prices Jakub Hruška of the KDU-ČSL and STAN alliance at 37.5% and Václav Trojan of ANO at 35.0%, with Kamila Zlatušková of the ODS and TOP 09 grouping at 23.0%, reflecting a fragmented field where no single list is assured a majority. Recent party decisions, including Hruška's selection as coalition leader with support from regional figures and Trojan's June confirmation as ANO's candidate, have kept probabilities tight by underscoring viable paths for multiple post-election alliances. Further clarity on voter turnout, list performance, or emerging coalition signals ahead of the vote could widen gaps among contenders.
