The 2026–27 NB I remains unusually open after seven rounds, with Puskás Akadémia, Vasas, Újpest, Ferencváros, and defending champion Győri ETO all within a handful of points at the top of the table. Győr’s title defense has been offset by European commitments and a mixed start, while Ferencváros has shown resilience but not dominance. Promoted sides Vasas and Honvéd have contributed to the parity through strong early results, and mid-table clubs such as MTK, Kisvárda, and Debrecen continue to collect points against one another. With no side establishing clear separation and the fixture list still lengthy, the closely bunched market prices reflect the league’s typical depth and the absence of a standout favorite this season.
