The 2026-27 Romanian SuperLiga title race remains tightly bunched in the early regular season because defending champions Universitatea Craiova, Dinamo București, Rapid București, Petrolul, FCSB, CFR Cluj, and Universitatea Cluj all sit within a handful of points after seven or eight rounds, with no side posting dominant form. Dinamo leads the table on the back of an improved attack and defensive organization, while Craiova retains squad depth and European experience that traders view as long-term advantages. FCSB has stumbled with consecutive defeats, yet retains historical pedigree and resources to recover. The split-format structure—halving points before a top-six play-off—further compresses probabilities, as several mid-table sides can still surge into contention through consistent results and favorable fixtures. This parity across traditional powerhouses and ambitious clubs keeps implied probabilities clustered near 45-54 percent.
