The early 2026–27 NB I campaign features a tightly bunched title race after Győri ETO claimed the previous crown and ended Ferencvárosi TC’s long dominance. Current league table shows Puskás Akadémia, Vasas, Újpest, Ferencváros, and ETO Győr separated by just a handful of points after six or seven rounds, with several clubs posting strong defensive records and positive goal differences. Ferencváros retains squad depth and European experience that historically translate into late surges, while ETO’s continuity and organization keep them competitive. Puskás, Vasas, and MTK have also started strongly, and no side has pulled clear. Trader pricing across roughly a dozen clubs at similar implied probabilities reflects this parity and the absence of any overwhelming favorite at this stage of the season.
