This market will resolve according to the official UFC Bantamweight division champion on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Only official UFC division champions will count. Interim champions will not count. If the relevant belt is vacant at this market’s check time, or there is otherwise no champion in the specified division, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Petr Yan holds the bantamweight title after reclaiming it with a unanimous decision victory over Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 323 in December 2025, marking his second reign and extending a four-fight win streak. The division's market positioning centers on their October 24, 2026, trilogy bout at UFC 333, where Yan enters as the favored champion with superior recent striking volume and defensive wrestling against Dvalishvili's high-volume pressure style. Dvalishvili's prior 14-fight win streak ended in that title loss, and his demanding 2025 schedule of multiple defenses may have contributed to the outcome. Lower-ranked contenders such as Sean O'Malley and Song Yadong show recent form but trail significantly in implied probability due to the established top-two matchup and limited paths to a year-end title shot.
