This market will resolve according to the next UFC fighter to be ranked 1st in the UFC Pound-For-Pound rankings, following Islam Makhachev. If Islam Makhachev remains #1 in the UFC Pound-For-Pound rankings through December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no next UFC fighter to be ranked 1st in the Pound-For-Pound rankings within this timeframe, this market will resolve to “Islam/No Next #1 in 2026”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Islam Makhachev holds the top spot in official UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings following his August 2026 unanimous decision win over Ian Machado Garry at UFC 330, extending his Octagon win streak to 17 and breaking the record previously held by Anderson Silva. As welterweight champion with a 29-1 record, the Dagestani grappler faces limited immediate threats from contenders such as Carlos Prates or Michael Morales, supporting trader consensus that he will retain the ranking through year-end.
