Municipal elections in Hradec Králové on October 9-10, 2026, feature ten competing slates with no projected outright majority, so the next mayor will be chosen through post-election council negotiations among viable blocs. Incumbent Pavlína Springerová leads the HDK–TOP 09 ticket backed by teachers and independents, while ANO fields Lukáš Fiedler, ODS fields Martin Soukup, and other lists are headed by Kamil Kubica, Jan Holásek, and Martina Erbsová. Candidate registrations closed in late August with limited subsequent polling shifts or scandals, keeping implied probabilities clustered around the leading options. Trader consensus reflects the fragmented landscape and bargaining leverage that vote shares will determine. Clearer separation could emerge from stronger-than-expected results for any single slate or early signals of coalition alignments ahead of the council vote.
