**Kamila Zlatušková leads the ODS-TOP 09 ticket at roughly 49% implied probability, with Jakub Hruška (KDU-ČSL/STAN) at 26% and Václav Trojan (ANO) at 17.5%, reflecting a fragmented contest ahead of Czech municipal elections on 9-10 October 2026.** The sitting mayor, Markéta Vaňková, stepped aside for health reasons, creating an open race in which the incumbent coalition seeks continuity through Zlatušková, a media producer and festival founder positioned as a fresh but aligned candidate. Rival lists emphasize housing, transport, and local services, while smaller movements such as Brnoklidem and Za Lužánky add further competition. With no dominant polling lead and council negotiations likely to follow the vote, traders see limited separation among the main contenders until results clarify coalition math.
