If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to advance to the 2026 Mountain West Championship Game (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Mountain West; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.New Mexico, UNLV, and North Dakota State stand out as the primary contenders for Mountain West Championship Game berths based on preseason consensus and returning production. New Mexico enters with strong momentum from a 9-4 campaign under coach Jason Eck, featuring high returning offensive output, linebacker Jaxton Eck on defense, and favorable early non-conference scheduling. UNLV reloads with a potent ground attack led by RB Jai’Den Thomas and added transfer quarterback Jackson Arnold, though an opening loss to Memphis highlighted offensive line vulnerabilities. North Dakota State, transitioning from FCS dominance, posted dominant early FBS wins and carries high projected win totals. Hawaii and Air Force sit as longer-shot options in a league lacking a clear frontrunner, where conference record tiebreakers and head-to-head results among the top trio will likely decide the two qualifiers by late November. Early-season injuries or road results in cross-division matchups could quickly shift implied probabilities.
