This market will resolve “Yes” if the listed team reaches the 2026 Big 12 Championship Game. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to advance to the 2026 Big 12 Championship Game (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2026 Big 12 Championship Game is cancelled, postponed after January 15, 2027, 11:59 PM ET or the 2026 Big 12 Championship Game matchup has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Big 12; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Texas Tech enters as the clear frontrunner to reach the 2026 Big 12 Championship Game, building on its 2025 title run with strong returning production on both lines, a deep backfield, and defensive continuity under coordinator Shiel Wood. Trader consensus reflects this edge through heavy favorite status in futures markets, though uncertainty around the quarterback room after Brendan Sorsby’s departure introduces some variance. BYU stands as the primary challenger, leveraging experience from last season’s title-game appearance, returning quarterback Bear Bachmeier, and running back LJ Martin amid a favorable early schedule. Houston, Utah under new head coach Morgan Scalley, TCU, and Kansas State represent the next tier of contenders, with their paths hinging on nonconference results, injury management, and head-to-head outcomes in a parity-heavy league. Early-season performance and key September matchups will shape adjustments in implied probabilities.
