The Hungarian NB I's 2026-27 campaign remains wide open for third place after the opening rounds, with a cluster of clubs holding comparable implied probabilities around 50 percent. Defending champions Győri ETO FC and Ferencvárosi TC sit among the frontrunners alongside Puskás Akadémia, Újpest, MTK Budapest, and Paksi SE, while Debreceni VSC, Vasas, and others stay within striking distance. Early results show fluctuating form, tight scorelines, and no dominant side emerging yet, as squad depth, home advantage, and fixture congestion continue to level the field. This parity keeps the battle for the final European spot highly competitive through the long 33-match schedule.
