This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Treasury 10-year yield is lower than the listed value for any date between November 11, 2025 and December 31, 2026. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is the Department of the treasury, specially the data listed under "Daily Treasury Par Yield Curve Rates" for the column "10 Yr" (see: https://home.treasury.gov/resource-center/data-chart-center/interest-rates/TextView?type=daily_treasury_yield_curve&field_tdr_date_value=2025).Recent economic data and Federal Reserve communications have anchored the 10-year Treasury yield near 4.78% as of early September 2026, following a rise from levels around 4.1-4.3% earlier in the year. Hawkish policy expectations under Chair Kevin Warsh, including reduced easing bets and potential 2026 tightening priced into futures, reflect resilient labor markets and above-target inflation. Structural factors such as elevated fiscal deficits, competition for capital from AI infrastructure spending, and the diminished safety premium on Treasuries have lifted term premia and supported higher long-term rates. Key upcoming catalysts include September FOMC deliberations, PCE inflation releases, and nonfarm payrolls, which could shift market-implied odds if growth or price pressures moderate faster than anticipated. Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects these dynamics through real-capital positioning on yield thresholds.
