The bunched probabilities around 49% for the 2026-27 Süper Lig runner-up reflect a wide-open race behind defending champions Galatasaray, with no club holding a decisive edge after an unusually active summer transfer window. Fenerbahçe strengthened significantly with additions like Mason Greenwood, Nathan Aké, Romelu Lukaku, and Vedat Muriqi, while Beşiktaş under Vincenzo Italiano secured Leandro Trossard, Dušan Vlahović, and Orkun Kökçü to challenge for European spots. Trabzonspor, Samsunspor, and several mid-table sides including Göztepe, Başakşehir, and Kocaelispor also invested heavily, creating broad parity in squad depth. Early-season results after four matchweeks show similar balance, with Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe already mixing wins and draws alongside promoted sides and established clubs. Historical patterns of late surges and fixture congestion further support trader consensus that multiple teams retain realistic paths to second place.
