This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Eredivisie for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Eredivisie for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Eredivisie (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Eredivisie; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Eredivisie runner-up market remains tightly contested because PSV are widely viewed as title favorites after three straight championships, leaving a fluid battle among Ajax, Feyenoord, AZ, and Twente for second. Ajax’s substantial summer investment in experienced additions such as Marcos Leonardo, Marc-André ter Stegen, and Julian Brandt has boosted their implied probability, while Feyenoord’s return of Giovanni van Bronckhorst and retention of core players keep them competitive. Early-season results, including AZ’s strong start atop the table and PSV’s 3-1 win at Ajax on matchday five, underscore shifting momentum. Squad depth, transfer activity, and the loss of one automatic Champions League spot have compressed expectations across the traditional top clubs and mid-table challengers, sustaining narrow pricing gaps.
