The 2026 Chinese Super League remains tightly contested for second place behind runaway leaders Chengdu Rongcheng, with Dalian Yingbo, Beijing Guoan, Qingdao West Coast, Shandong Taishan, Yunnan Yukun, and Shanghai Port separated by just a handful of points after 24–26 matches each. Multiple teams retain games in hand and favorable remaining schedules, while recent results have featured high goal tallies, inconsistent form, and occasional heavy defeats that prevent any side from establishing clear separation. Points deductions affecting several clubs have further compressed the mid-table, sustaining uncertainty over the final runner-up order with roughly four to six rounds left. This parity underpins the market’s clustered implied probabilities across the leading contenders.
