If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed player to win the 2026 U.S. Open Men’s Singles Tournament per the rules of the tournament, the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 U.S. Open Men’s Singles Tournament is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from the U.S. Open (https://www.usopen.org/index.html); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Carlos Alcaraz holds the strongest position in the 2026 US Open men's singles market after Jannik Sinner's pre-tournament withdrawal with a right knee injury cleared a more favorable path, allowing the defending champion to advance steadily through the early rounds despite returning from a four-month wrist layoff. Alexander Zverev, the top seed and recent French Open winner, sits second after grinding out multiple five-set wins but faces questions around accumulated fatigue on hard courts. American contenders Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz benefit from home support, recent title form, and a wide-open draw, while veterans like Daniil Medvedev and emerging players such as Learner Tien and Jakub Mensik trail as longer shots amid the competitive field. Trader consensus reflects these recent developments and head-to-head patterns on the surface.
