Both the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers enter the 2026 season with closely aligned projections around 9–11 wins in a stacked AFC West, fueling trader consensus around a season series split. The Broncos return with Bo Nix fully healthy after his prior ankle fracture, an elite offensive line, and additions like Jaylen Waddle, while the Chargers feature Justin Herbert under new coordinator Mike McDaniel alongside Jim Harbaugh’s established defensive foundation. Each team hosts one matchup, creating balanced home-field dynamics. Recent training camp reports highlight minimal roster upheaval for either side and comparable depth, with no decisive edge emerging in preseason evaluations. This parity mirrors their 2025 split and supports the market’s view that each side wins exactly one game.
