This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player records 20 or more sacks during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only regular season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. A player's total is the total he records across all of his 2026-27 NFL regular season games, including games played for more than one team. Half sacks count as 0.5 toward a player's total, per official NFL scoring. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined whether any player recorded 20 or more sacks within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Elite edge rushers like Myles Garrett, now with the Rams after his record 23-sack 2025 season, create the primary upside for a 20-sack campaign in 2026, supported by a stronger supporting cast, favorable game scripts, and pass-rush opportunities.** Yet projections from ESPN and others peg most league leaders—including Garrett, Aidan Hutchinson, and Will Anderson Jr.—in the 10-15 sack range, reflecting typical regression after outlier years and the historical rarity of 20-plus sacks, achieved by only a small number of players across decades with back-to-back feats nearly unprecedented. The 50% implied probability captures this balance: Garrett’s improved situation and other high-end talents like Danielle Hunter and Nik Bonitto offer realistic paths to the mark, while league-wide defensive trends, injury risks, and snap distributions favor more moderate totals. Recent offseason developments, including Garrett’s trade and training camp reports, sustain the even odds without tilting decisively either direction.
