This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 MAC Football Championship Game, determining the champion of the Mid-American Conference for the 2026 college football season, currently scheduled for December 5, 2026. If this championship is postponed after December 19, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple teams are declared co-champions, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Mid-American Conference (https://mac-sports.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The MAC's inherent parity and widespread roster turnover sustain a tight 2026 conference race, with Toledo holding the highest implied probability at 56.5% amid a cluster of contenders near 50% or below. Preseason coaches polls favored Western Michigan and Miami (OH) for continuity at key positions like quarterback and running back, yet heavy transfer portal activity has reshuffled depth charts across Toledo, Ohio, Central Michigan, and others, flattening talent gaps. Early non-conference results and win-total projections reflect this uncertainty, as no team enters with dominant returning production or schedule advantages that would separate frontrunners decisively. Historical patterns of late-season surges and the addition of Sacramento State further compress probabilities among the top half of the league.
