This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 MLS Landon Donovan Most Valuable Player. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Lionel Messi’s commanding statistical edge and recent match-winning displays have driven the strongest trader consensus for the 2026 MLS MVP award. The Inter Miami forward leads the league with 18 goals and 9–10 assists through late August, highlighted by a four-goal, one-assist outburst that ended a five-game winless streak for his side and pushed his goal contributions to 28. Petar Musa sits second with 16 goals for FC Dallas, while Evander’s 13 goals and 11 assists for FC Cincinnati keep him competitive through creative output and long-range threat. Supporting contenders such as Sam Surridge, Denis Bouanga, Luis Suárez, and Thomas Müller trail further behind in combined production and team impact, leaving Messi as the frontrunner with limited realistic paths for others to close the gap before season’s end.
