This market will resolve to “Yes” if Mike Locksley ceases to be the head football coach at the University of Maryland for any length of time between market creation and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement of Mike Locksley’s resignation or firing before the market’s end date will immediately resolve this market to “Yes”, regardless of when the announced resignation or firing goes into effect. This market’s primary resolution source will be official information from the University of Maryland and/or Mike Locksley; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Maryland head coach Mike Locksley enters the 2026 campaign under contract through 2027 amid institutional backing that includes enhanced NIL resources and roster retention priorities from athletic director leadership. After consecutive 4-8 seasons, the Terps return substantial production, including promising quarterback Malik Washington and other key contributors, while installing a new offensive coordinator to address run-game and execution issues.
