A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The early stage of the 2026-27 La Liga campaign, with only four matchdays completed, has kept the race for the most clean sheets wide open among a broad group of starting goalkeepers. Barcelona’s Joan García leads early with multiple shutouts behind the league’s stingiest defense, while Thibaut Courtois at Real Madrid, Jan Oblak at Atlético Madrid, Unai Simón at Athletic Club, and others like Álex Remiro, David Soria, and Álvaro Vallés have posted comparable results amid tight defensive displays from their sides. Recent results show several clubs, including Alavés and Betis, limiting chances effectively, but fixture congestion, squad rotation, and varying schedules ahead prevent any single keeper from separating. Trader consensus reflects this balance, with no dominant frontrunner emerging from historical patterns or current form.
