Stella Lefty’s “Boston” commands a near-certain 99.4% implied probability for the Billboard Hot 100’s #2 spot the week of September 12 because of its commanding lead in streaming volume, sales data, and overall consumption metrics during the current tracking period. The track’s sustained radio airplay and playlist momentum have created a wide gap over the field, mirroring historical patterns where songs with similar multi-metric dominance lock in high placements before the chart finalizes. Traders see little room for movement given the proximity to the September 12 lock date. An upset would require an unforeseen late surge from a competitor—such as a viral TikTok moment, major promotional push, or sudden streaming spike—that closes the gap before the tracking week ends, though such reversals remain rare at this stage.
