Rod Wave’s *Don’t Look Down*, released August 28 via Alamo Records, drives the near-certain market consensus for the Billboard 200 top spot the week of September 12. Early tracking points to 100,000–125,000 equivalent album units, fueled by robust streaming velocity—over 8 million first-day Spotify streams and every track charting on Apple Music—plus Rod Wave’s established pattern of five straight top-three debuts and a dedicated fanbase that powers consistent R&B/hip-hop consumption. Recent RIAA certifications and pre-tour buzz further reinforce the momentum. An upset would require an unforeseen major release or outsized catalog surge from another title to eclipse those figures in the final tracking days.
