Coco Gauff sits second following her Cincinnati victory and strong recent hard-court results, leveraging her 2023 title and return-game strengths in a draw that rewards current momentum. Iga Swiatek's Toronto title and improved late-summer results support her positioning, while Jessica Pegula's high win total and Elena Rybakina's injury concerns from Cincinnati highlight the field's parity. Rising players like Mirra Andreeva add depth, underscoring how recent form, hard-court history, and fitness differentiate the leaders in this wide-open field.
