Universidad Católica and Universidad de Chile remain locked in a tight contest for second place in the 2026 Liga de Primera, each on 39 points after 22 matches while Colo-Colo leads comfortably on 53. Recent results have kept the pair level, with both sides securing victories in the latest round and maintaining strong goal differences that could prove decisive over the remaining fixtures. Palestino sits four points back in fourth, while mid-table sides such as Everton, Deportes Limache, and Ñublense retain mathematical chances if the top challengers drop points amid a congested schedule. This narrow gap between the leading contenders has produced closely bunched trader probabilities across the field, reflecting the league’s typical volatility and the importance of head-to-head results and remaining home/away splits in determining the final runner-up.
