This market will resolve to “Yes” if the listed fighter becomes champion of any UFC division between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Only official UFC division champions will count. Interim champions will not count. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Multiple divisions experienced title changes and upsets in the first half of 2026, including Justin Gaethje's fourth-round corner stoppage of Ilia Topuria for the lightweight belt, Ciryl Gane's interim heavyweight win over Alex Pereira, Sean Strickland's split-decision victory over Khamzat Chimaev at middleweight, and Carlos Ulberg's light heavyweight title acquisition. Current titleholders such as Islam Makhachev at welterweight, Alexander Volkanovski at featherweight, Petr Yan at bantamweight, and Joshua Van at flyweight have limited or zero defenses entering the fall schedule.
