Early in the 2026-27 Swiss Super League campaign, with teams having contested only five to seven matches, defensive records remain fluid and closely matched across the 12-team field. Lugano stands out with the stingiest backline so far, conceding just three goals while posting multiple clean sheets, while Lausanne-Sport and several others sit at one or two shutouts. Traditional contenders such as Young Boys, Basel, and Servette have bolstered squads and goalkeepers capable of sustained clean-sheet runs, yet fixture congestion, travel, and the mid-season split introduce variance. Trader consensus reflects this parity, pricing every side evenly because no club has established a durable defensive edge and historical patterns show clean-sheet leadership often shifts with form, injuries, and opponent quality over the full schedule.
