The opening weeks of the 2026-27 Serie A campaign have seen Roma and Inter establish early leads at the top of the table, directly influencing early trader views on which sides will secure the fifth- and sixth-place finishes or Coppa Italia success that grant 2027-28 Europa League league-phase access. Juventus, AC Milan, and Napoli sit close behind after limited fixtures, with pre-season previews noting their squad reinforcements and managerial shifts—such as Massimiliano Allegri at Napoli—as key variables. Mid-table challengers like Atalanta, Bologna, and Fiorentina remain in contention depending on consistency across the 38-match schedule, home/away splits, and any European commitments that could affect domestic rotation. Head-to-head records and goal difference will serve as tiebreakers under updated rules.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Serie A standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Europa League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Serie A season is cancelled or postponed past June 14, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Europa League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or Serie A; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
