Early in the 2026-27 Serie A campaign, after three matchdays, Donyell Malen’s five-goal burst for Roma alongside Antonio Raimondo’s four for Frosinone and a broad group of players on two goals—including Lautaro Martínez and Matías Soulé (Argentina), Assane Diao (Spain), Martin Baturina (Croatia), and Anastasios Douvikas (Greece)—has produced a wide-open Capocannoniere race. This early distribution of scoring across nationalities underpins the tight trader consensus around 50 percent for multiple countries, with Argentina holding a marginal edge on the back of Martínez’s prior title and Inter’s attack. No single nation has established sustained dominance, and the compressed pricing reflects the league’s typical early volatility before longer-term form and fixture difficulty sort contenders.
