The 2026-27 Scottish Premiership opens with an evenly matched race for the most clean sheets, reflected in traders assigning identical implied probabilities to every club. This pricing captures the league's competitive balance, where no side has established a clear defensive edge through pre-season results or confirmed roster changes. Traditional frontrunners Celtic and Rangers share the spotlight with clubs such as Aberdeen, Heart of Midlothian, and Hibernian, all of which have invested in organized backlines and experienced goalkeepers. Early-season form, home/away splits, and fixture congestion will likely shape outcomes more than historical averages, leaving the market sensitive to the first handful of matchweeks and any notable injury developments affecting central defenders or keepers.
