The 2026-27 Premier League last-place market reflects broad uncertainty after three matchweeks, with the three promoted sides—Coventry City, Hull City, and Ipswich Town—commanding the highest implied probabilities due to historical patterns where newly promoted clubs often finish bottom. Coventry’s winless start and defensive vulnerabilities contrast with Hull’s surprisingly strong opening results, while Ipswich sits mid-pack but faces a steep adjustment. Several established sides including Tottenham, Fulham, Aston Villa, and Crystal Palace have also posted early poor form and negative goal differences, keeping their relegation risks live. This even distribution of modest probabilities across promoted and mid-table clubs underscores the season-long volatility in squad adaptation, fixture difficulty, and managerial stability that prevents any single team from pulling clear as the clear favorite to finish 20th.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in last place in the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season (e.g., they are mathematically guaranteed to finish above 20th), this market will resolve to "No".
In the event of a tie for last place, this market will resolve based on the club officially recognized by the Premier League as finishing in 20th place. If multiple clubs are officially recognized as finishing in last place, this market will resolve to the club whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no last-place club declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
