This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from Peru Liga 1 at the conclusion of the 2026 Peru Liga 1 season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in Peru Liga 1 for the following season through their final standing in the 2026 Peru Liga 1, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by Peru Liga 1. If the 2026 Peru Liga 1 season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Peru Liga 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**UTC and ADT occupy the bottom two spots in the 2026 Liga 1 aggregate table and face the strongest relegation risk, driven primarily by poor performance combined with point deductions for unpaid debts.** As of early September 2026 (after roughly 24–25 aggregate matches per side), UTC sits last with just 10 points following a 10-point sanction, while ADT is 17th with 21 points after a 1-point deduction. Both clubs have struggled in the ongoing Torneo Clausura, posting weak results and goal differences that leave little margin for recovery. Newly promoted sides FC Cajamarca (23 points) and Deportivo Moquegua (25 points) sit immediately above them and remain vulnerable if results deteriorate, though their positions are less dire than the bottom pair. Relegation is decided solely by the final aggregate standings (bottom two drop to Liga 2), with the remaining Clausura fixtures—roughly half the second tournament still to play—offering the main opportunities for movement. Trader consensus reflects these standings and sanctions as the dominant factors, with limited upside for the penalized sides absent dramatic turnarounds in form or further disciplinary developments.
