This market will resolve “Yes” if the listed team reaches the Second Round of the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to advance to the Second Round of the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET or the Second Round matchups have not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL (https://www.nhl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.The 2026 NHL playoffs concluded in mid-June with no further developments in the subsequent three months, as the league entered its off-season. Carolina Hurricanes captured the Eastern Conference title and the Stanley Cup after defeating the Montreal Canadiens in the conference final, following a first-round sweep of the Philadelphia Flyers and earlier series wins by Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens over their respective opponents. Regular-season standings showed Carolina atop the Metropolitan Division with 113 points, while Buffalo led the Atlantic with 109 points; these results aligned with the teams that advanced past the opening round. The next Eastern Conference playoff matchups will not occur until spring 2027.
