This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named as the champion of NBA for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NBA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NBA: however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Oklahoma City and San Antonio sit atop the 2027 NBA champion market as the clear frontrunners because both rosters feature young superstar cores, elite defense, and recent Western Conference Finals experience that sets them apart from the field. The Thunder enter with back-to-back MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, and Jalen Williams but shed rotation depth in the 2026 offseason to manage the luxury tax, while the Spurs return Victor Wembanyama plus emerging talents Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper after adding frontcourt help and gaining Finals exposure despite their 2025-26 loss. This budding rivalry, combined with projected 60-plus win paces for both clubs, has produced the tightest implied probabilities at the top of the board. Eastern Conference sides like the Knicks and 76ers trail as the West’s depth and recent head-to-head results continue to shape trader consensus.
