This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named as the champion of NBA for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NBA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NBA: however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs lead the 2027 NBA champion market as the top Western Conference contenders, buoyed by their 2025-26 regular-season dominance and a heated playoff rivalry that saw the Spurs eliminate the defending-champion Thunder in a seven-game conference finals. Both clubs return elite cores—Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, and Chet Holmgren for Oklahoma City alongside Victor Wembanyama for San Antonio—despite Thunder roster tweaks to manage the second apron and Spurs additions like Tobias Harris. Eastern Conference teams such as the 76ers and Knicks sit close behind on the strength of star acquisitions and recent Finals experience, creating a narrow gap at the top where minor shifts in health, development, or regular-season form could reorder implied probabilities across the field.
