A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026–27 Botola Pro season begins September 24 with a confirmed 16-team format after expansion proposals were rejected. Newly promoted sides MA Tétouan, WS Témara, and US Amal Tiznit join the league following strong 2025–26 Botola Pro 2 campaigns, replacing OC Safi, US Yacoub El Mansour, and Olympique Dcheira. Traders focus on the promoted clubs’ adaptation challenges, squad depth, and historical patterns where newcomers often occupy the lower table early. Established sides such as Hassania Agadir, RCA Zemamra, and Union Touarga enter as typical relegation candidates based on recent mid-to-lower finishes, while factors including opening fixtures, transfer activity, and home/away splits will shape early-season momentum and implied probabilities for the two direct relegation spots plus any play-off berth.
